Inspiration Series: Candy Kawaii Lover (Ashley Dy)
Blogging is a sort of reliever for some people, some find it interesting, and some find it inspirational. I've been blogging since 2009, been to a lot of platforms, and now has finally settled down with this URL and just started blogging again, or should I say, a rebirth of my blog, so I will be starting from scratch... This blog was just opened late 2014, and I really didn't expect this amount of visits in just a short period of time, and I think one of the reasons why I was able to put up this blog is because of inspiration, inspirational people who encourage people to be as positive, creative, and inspirational as they are. For this 2015, I will be doing a series, series of Inspirational Bloggers whom I will be doing a short interview with, and feature in my blog, bet you think I will only be featuring well known bloggers huh? just to make things clear, even NEW bloggers can be inspirational, because it's their drive to become an encouragement to others which makes a blog positive and wonderful to read.
And for the debut of this series, I have interviewed one of my favorite bloggers of all time, Ashley Dy of Candy Kawaii Lover
I'm a proud reader (or rather Stalker) of her blog, she posts the most amazing pictures tied up with a heart warming post about how or what she's currently doing, even giving tips to her readers on different things. One thing I really love about her blog, is that it's Free, free to post whatever she likes and doesn't need to just stick to one theme.
Another thing I love about Ashley is that she is adventurous, that's how I see her through her blog posts, she's stylish, cute and adventurous!
That's why I've decided to shoot her an email and asked her a couple of questions, and again I want to thank her for replying! hihi! Hope to see you too soon ate ashley!
CANDY KAWAII LOVER
- Tell me something about yourself
- How long have you been a blogger? what made you start blogging?I've been blogging for almost 6 years now. I started blogging about my day when I was bored from work with a help of a co-intern, we took photos of my outfits.
- What were your dreams when you were young? are they still the same as your dreams now?I dreamt of becoming a lawyer, doctor, pediatrician, dermatologist, flight attendant, model, etc. when I was 11. I have to say I still have many dreams just like before but of course it's already different now.
- Did you ever feel like you hit rock bottom? how did you handle it?Everyone does at some point. I usually cry then get over it. I have asked advices from people who are more knowledgeable than I am but in the end, it's just me and my mind. I still have to learn more about handling my emotions but I'm also headstrong. Know that you can't get everything you want and it's okay. Happiness and loneliness are part of life, just find your balance and you'll be fine.
- Who/What are your inspirations?I'm inspired by the cherry blossom trees. Just like them, we are all beautiful. Life is short so we have to do our best to find our happiness and purpose.
- How did Kawaii change you?Kawaii change my life in a surprising way. More than the way I dress or the way I put my make-up on, kawaii altered the way I think about people. I don't judge easily rather, I try to understand them.
- Any tips for fellow/starting bloggers who aim to live the kawaii lifestyle?Kawaii lifestyle is not just about material things like fashion, hair and make-up but it's an act of understanding and connecting each other's differences. You don't have to force it to be kawaii, everyone is kawaii in their own way.
- Inspirational Words When you think that nothing's going your way, it's because something better is coming. Don't just sit there and wait, do something that your future self will thank you for.
Just look at all these amazing photographs she took! One thing that makes me blog is looking at her blog and bam! I want to blog like she does.
Ashley is one of my inspirations in making this blog, and when it comes to chasing my dreams! She's someone I look up to and I hope this post made it the same for you!
Again thank you so much ate ashley for taking the time to do this~ And that's it for the first "episode"? (lol) of this Series! will be featuring a couple more bloggers soon so look out for it!
