mika's online diary

henlow everyone! Welcome back to another blog! This is a little different compared to my usual blog posts, but! I am happy to do my current Animal Crossing New Horizons House Tour! (and a bit of my island as well lol) I've been playing Animal Crossing since the DS era so having them release the New Horizons on Switch is just.... yeah... this just made me super happy!  I noticed that Animal Crossing New Horizons is pretty much in  craze now, even people who never played Animal Crossing games started playing this one mainly because of the Quarantine and lock downs all over the world, so I think they released this game in good timing, more friends to play with! Super happy!

Anyway! Let's start with the tour!

This is my house! (my boyfriend visited my island lol) I just went with the simple black roof and just added a few flowers on the side to add a little bit of homey feel to it! And of course I have a dog house lol

Before touring you guys inside the house, just wanted to share the area near my home! My island's fruit is actually pears, but I'm able to plant the rest of the fruits, apples, oranges, cherries, and peaches, and of course coconuts!

My island's name is lilycove by the way, based on a city from the Pokemon games (Ruby and Sapphire)

Moving on to my house tour!

This is the living room! I seriously could not decide on what theme to go with, I wanted to go for a Kawaii, Pink magical girl theme, or BL theme, Pokemon Theme, Anime/Otaku themed house, I had a hard to deciding, so I just went for a simple and plain aesthetic home lol

I have pets as mentioned earlier lol I have a dog house outside, a cat tower, hamster, and fish tank in the living room. I have a few instruments as well, and adding plants in the house really adds a relaxing vibe to it!

Next room...

My favourite room inside the house... my Kitchen! I'm still missing like the real cooking station/burners, so I just set it up like this for the meantime lol

But! my bathroom is actually funnier because...

There's an onsen inside my bathroom haha! I don't have a bathtub yet, or like a shower area, so I just made this into like a jacuzzi for now haha!

I have a few items like the towel rack, bathroom sink, toilet, and just added a few things to make it look a little less empty!

And last but not the least... my bedroom!
Again, couldn't decide on a single theme, so I just went for that classic wood/white/cream/warm color aesthetic. I'm still planning on upgrading the look of my house/interior of my room, but for now, I am pretty happy with how I was able to build this!

But! If you want to see the place/my island... I actually made a video as well for my youtube channel!

Feel free to watch this video as well in case you guys want to see!
I know this is a tough time for everyone, this pandemic is hitting everyone hard, I can only pray for everyone to be safe and healthy! I know the circumstances differ depending on where you are from, but hopefully you all are properly taken care off by your country...
Keep safe everyone and thanks so much for reading!

Gotta catch em'all!

This was, without a doubt, one of the happiest days of my life! some of you may already know, but, I think it's pretty obvious, but... I love Pokemon

I've played ALL and I mean ALL the games from Gameboy color, advance, SP, DS, DSi, 2DS, 3DS, and now, Nintendo Switch! I also played the card games before, and I watched the entire Pokemon Anime franchise! My favorite seasons are of course; the original Indigo League, I also love the Jhoto League series, XYZ, and Sun and Moon series! These are my favorites among the anime!

well that's a brief background on how much I love the franchise, so! let's get into the post! Last January 3, 2020, during our Tokyo Trip, Dyan, marianne and I went  to Pokemon Center Tokyo DX and got to experience dining at the Pokemon Cafe!

I'd say we're pretty lucky since it was during the Sword and Shield promotion period! So we got to try limited edition Sword and Shield food, and the layout of the cafe and some of their interior designs or displays were also SwSh themed!

I wish my kitchen and dining area looked like this lol

It was hard to choose from the menu since there were a loooot of options! I really wanted to order the sobble themed dish because he's my baby and my partner pokemon, but I was craving for rice that time so I decided to get the scorbunny dish!

I also got a Cocoa drink in an Eevee mug!
Dyan ordered a dessert dish, Jigglypuff cheesecake and a Berry Soda Tapioca Moltress drink!
Marianne ordered the Pokemon Cafe Fruits Pancake!

And since Dyan and I ordered drinks, we get to pick out a Pokemon coaster through a Kuji! (raffle) and guess what, Dyan got Zamazenta, and I got Zacian! Lucky we got both legendaries!

(and I play the Sword version and I got Zacian!!)

There was also an ADORABLE PIKACHU SHOW! uurghhhhh it was so cute I wanted to cry!

Be sure to reserve!! It's going to be hard to walk in with no reservations especially on a busy day or weekend!

Anyway after eating, the Pokemon Center Tokyo DX (which is the biggest pokemon center) was right beside it! so I just had to go there ohoho!

Anyway's, I know I don't have a lot of photos... BUT!
I do have a 19 min vlog of the entire Cafe and Center experience! I'm going to tour you guys lolol

Well there you have it! I hope you guys watched the vlog and had fun watching and reading!

How's 2020 so far? I know everything has been pretty rough all over the world, but I hope whoever is reading this is doing great! ~(>_<~) Anyway, I know I've been MIA for about 8 months as I mentioned in my post update, a lot has happened, and I want to slowly get my track back to blogging (besides vlogging lol will do my best to do both!) To be honest I don't know where to start haha! -nervous laughter- so I'll try to just create posts and post what I feel like I want to share during that moment, so my backlog posts may not be in order, but I will be sure to put the dates so at least it will be easier!

So! putting that aside, Dyan, Marianne and I are doing okay, we're now living in the same apartment building by the way! Thank you! lol so we get to hang out in each other's apartments whenever we want!

Last March 14, 2020, which was of course, White Day!we celebrated it together! They went to my apartment in the afternoon, and we had a movie marathon! I also got them these adorable Chocolate Tiramisu Bear cups!

Happy White Day! (´ ∀ ` *) lol
Since we were so engrossed with the movie we were watching (we watched horror films lol) we forgot to prepare dinner, so we just had cup ramen and instant yakisoba for our dinner meal!

Japanese cup ramen is actually really good though! haha! I'm planning on doing an updated apartment tour so I can share it with everyone! (although I did upload one on youtube hehe)

Last February, it actually snowed pretty well too!

EVERYTHING WAS WHITE! ヽ(>∀<☆)ノ the city was covered in white snow and everything was soooo pretty!

we also had a really expensive hair pamper day! (my first time in a Japanese salon) I didn't get a haircut though, just colors!

besides that, between the course of November (which was Pokemon Sword and Shield release date) to early February, there's still a bunch of Pokemon themed stuff everywhere! (which of course makes me suppper happy!)

(ノ´ヮ`)ノ*: ・゚

Mister Donuts has the cutest Pokemon themed items! (will share a separate post on that soon!)

but they had this adorable drink!

I mentioned in my life update post that we went to Tokyo during New Years, and we actually went to the Pokemon Cafe and Pokemon Center Tokyo DX! Of course I will be posting that separately as well ohohohoho!

But yeah, I just wanted to post this just to update you guys on how I've been and all, so thanks again for sticking around!

See you next time!

Last 2019年6月27日~29日, Dyan, Marianne, and I went to Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara! It was our first trip together outside of the Shimane Prefecture, and it was a blast! We really enjoyed it, and honestly, we didn't want to go back to Shimane (lol)

On our 2nd day, we stayed within the area of Osaka and even though that was the case, I think this was our busiest day lol
Our first stop was Amemura (American Village) because we wanted to take photos around the area, this was pretty close to Dotonbhori (where our hostel was located), so we just walked from there and went to pretty much a lot of stop overs!

Of course we had to take a bunch of OOTD shots lol

While we were on our way to Amemura, we stopped by Suiyoubi no Alice (Alice on Wednesday), and bought a couple of cute accessories!

I don't have pictures of the accessories section of the shop, but I vlogged the entire day, so that is included in the video, I will be including the link later on for our Day 2 vlog lol

After walking around for a bit, we were talking about how we were craving for Tapioca Milk Tea, and we came across a store lol

CRAVINGS SATISFIED! lol Marianne's drink poured over her twice though haha!

After walking around, we had lunch at a nearby restaurant, then went to the train station to visit the Osaka Aquarium which was our first stop for the day! (well first official stop), and of course we had to take pictures as usual lol

This is part of the Aquarium, the wall design was amazing!

The adult ticket price was 2,300 JPY each, so that's roughly around 1,150 PHP, which is completely WORTH IT!

We had to... we just had to... we were pretty much professionals at making a fool of ourselves haha!

I didn't take that much photos inside since I was too busy recording for the vlog, so if you want to see more, just check out the vlog hihi (link below)

It was amazing! that was definitely an unforgettable experience, and it was worth every penny! it was breathtakingly beautiful!

After the tour, we decided to take pictures by the beautiful wall, and since we had no one else to take our photos for us... we placed the camera on the floor, set it up with an umbrella behind it, and just turned on the timer and voila! lol

After the Osaka Aquarium, our next stop was Osaka Castle... so we were pretty pumped about that!

Look at that beauty! It was actually also the same weekend as the G20 Summit 2019, and I guess you pretty much know what I'm about to say... yes... we weren't able to visit the inside of the Osaka Castle because the G20 Summit was held there, on that same day... so I guess our luck was pretty bad at that part... so we just took a picture from the outside! ;A;

It was getting pretty late, so we decided to head back, but along the way, they went along with my request which was... TO VISIT THE POKEMON CENTER IN UMEDA OSAKA!

I was seriously in heaven... this is my home... this is my space... this is.. me! lol
I've been a fan of the nintendo games since Gameboy Color up to 3DS (and pretty soon the pokemon game series will be coming to SWITCH), I also played and collected the Pokemon cards, I loved the Anime series, from Indigo up to Sun and Moon... basically, I'm a Pokemon addict!

My day was complete haha!

Even at night, Osaka is really bright and lively, the complete opposite of Shimane-prefecture Izumo City haha! I took pictures of Dyan and Marianne while walking, I feel pretty good since the shots were pretty! ohohoho!

And that's how our day pretty much went!

As I mentioned earlier, I vlogged the entire Kansai Adventure experience!
so if you want to watch the Kansai vlog series, here's the link to Day 2!
